Overview of The National Golf Club

The National Golf Club, situated on the scenic Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia, provides one of the country’s premier golf experiences. A convenient drive from Melbourne, the club houses three championship courses, all ranking in Australia’s top 40 for 2010.

The Old Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, tests golfers’ strategic positioning and punishes misdirected shots, while offering beautiful coastal views. The Moonah Course crafted by Greg Norman, boasts rugged bunkering and rewards well-placed shots, with inspiring “Cups” scenery. The newly renovated and renamed Gunnamatta Course (previously Ocean Course), was originally designed by Thomson, Wolveridge & Perrett and completely overhauled by Tom Doak. It is a traditional “links” course designed to work with the natural land contours.

Each course at The National Golf Club provides a unique and rewarding golfing opportunity, showcasing Australia’s remarkable landscape.
